Every christian is a new creature. Giving your life to Jesus means that you are now fully clean and free from everything that happened to you before your salvation. After giving your life to Jesus, your next step is to totally surrender your past experiences into his hands, to be able to get free from all of your past bondages in order to work in victory into your future. Give your life to Jesus means also that you are no longer your own. God wants to lead you into His perfect plan and destiny for your life… But to achieve it, you need to surrender your entire life to Him.
The bible says in 2 corinthians 5:17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come, The old has gone, the new is here!
When God wants to make a move forward with you, the first thing he will do, will be to take you back in your past to clean up every past damages that could be oppositions against His perfect will for your future. Before moving forward in your divine destiny, you need to let God deals with specific things that occurred to you in your past. We all have a certain amount of baggage that we carry from our past. Some lighter loads than others and we all need to take care of it.
When you are stuck in your past, you are not able to step fully in your present and your future.
You don’t need to be bound out anymore with what happened to you. You can now start living again and let your wings fly. All the shots you have taken don’t determine your destiny. You need to learn how to let them go.
To fly as an eagle, you will need to break off all the chains that hold you back. You can not be grounded where you are anymore. God’s eagles needs to stop holding onto their past to be able to accomplish His vision. Jesus said in the word that anyone that wants to move forward with God but keeps looking back will not fit for the kingdom of God.
“No one, having put his hand to the plow, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.” (Luke 9:62)
That's exactly why you need to let God do a deeper inner work with you, no matter how bad some of the things may have been in your past. God can fully heals you and breaks off any chain from your past. The holy Spirit is the master Healer. He will go deeper into where hurts and pains are located if you are willing to work and cooperate with him during his inner healing process.
You are called to step in his higher calling. Make the decision today to cooperate with him and to be totally free. Will you now let your past fully go to fly into the divine destiny of God for you?
